JJC-YRD

The Young Researchers Day (JJC) is a yearly congress at the Marine biological station of Roscoff. It is organized by a group of young scientists aimed at the local young scientists (master and PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, "CDD"). We are largely sponsored by the local research units and the local enterprises of Roscoff. Our aim is to have an opportunity for the budding young scientists to present their work through different formats: talks, posters, flash presentations. For each type of presentation, there will be a price given to the most outstanding.

In addition to the presentations of our local young researchers, we invite inspiring scientists and teachers, who will do us the honor of sharing their expertise. This year the JJC has invitees especially well versed in science communication. The day will have keynote talks by Doyle McKey and Ferdinando Boero. The end of the afternoon section will be graced by an interactive presentation workshop hosted by Ludovic Lecordier. Since we would like as many people as possible to have the opportunity to profit from these workshops, it will be repeated and elaborated the next day(s) as well (details pending, and adjusted to number of participants).

For all the young scientist please send us your intent for a presentation (10mn or 3mn) and/or poster through the abstract submission form.

Let us know if you wish to attend the workshop as places are limited!

Then finally for everyone please register for the dinner.

Mark the 23rd of January in your calendars.

See you all there!
